The honest questions

Is Asteroid Defender free?

Yes, completely. No account, no signup, no cost. Just press start and fly.

Are my scores stored anywhere?

No. Your best score lives only in this browser, and your share link carries your score inside the link itself. Nothing is saved on our servers.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes. The game is built phone first: drag to move, and your ship fires on its own. On a computer, use WASD or arrow keys, or steer with the mouse.

Are the asteroids real?

Yes. Each wave is named after a real asteroid: Bennu, Ryugu, Itokawa, Didymos, Eros, Apophis, Toutatis, Vesta, and Psyche, plus a final planet-killer class rock. A true fact about each one appears after you clear its wave.

How do I share my score?

The game over screen gives you a link with your score baked in. Anyone opening it sees your score and can try to beat it.
